The very last Essay Writing
course will take place in SoSe 2011.
The
Essay Writing course is for students doing the old teaching degree
programs GHS and RS as well as for students doing the old degree
programs BA
English/Media Management and Magister. Please register via KLIPS
starting on 14 March.
Special note to students doing GHS teaching degrees and Magister
students:
All students are encouraged to take Essay Writing; however, only
students doing
RS teaching and BA degrees must pass the course before they can
register for their exams.
Information about all students (those who take the course as well as
students who decide not to take the course)
is made available to the instructors correcting the state exams. Essay
Writing can be especially important for students doing LA GHS teaching
degrees since these students usually have less writing practice in
their courses
but still have to pass one important written state exam in English. GHS
students
don't have the chance to balance the results of the written essay exam
with the additional
written translation exam, an advantage that RS students do have.
Students who
wish to audit the course only are always welcome and can show up
at
their convenience to sit in the back of the room but will not be able
to turn in
any
written assignments to be corrected.

the sign-up sheets on the Blackboard companion course to choose the HHH
chapters you wish to prepare as experts.
