BV-Tool (Visualization Tool)

The BV-Tool is a graphical user interface for loading, manipulating and saving images. The tool offers several filters, segmentation algorithms (CSC, Split-And-Merge, Recursive Histogram Splitting), etc. To download a executable version of the visualization tool, download either bv-windows-1-0.zip (Windows Version) or bv-linux-1-0.zip (Linux Version). Both files are ZIP archives and must be completely extracted. To start the windows version, you have just to call the program bvwin.exe. To start the linux version, you have to call the program bvlinuxqt3 instead.

The complete source code of the BV-Tool is distributed on two different ZIP archives (irl-src-1-0.zip and bv-src-1-0.zip). The file irl-src-1-0.zip contains the implementation of the most algorithms that are used within the BV-Tool, e.g. CSC, Split-And-Merge, Recursive-Histogram-Splitting, SNN-Filter, Kuwahara-Nagao-Filter, etc. The file bv-src-1-0.zip contains the source code of the pure graphical user interface.

Color Structure Code (CSC)

You can also download the color structure code as a command line tool. Dependent on your operating system (Windows or Linux) you have to download either csc-windows-1-2.zip or csc-linux-1-2.zip. Both files are ZIP archives that contains the executable file. You can obtain the source code of the csc by downloading the file csc-src-1-2.zip. For more information: please read the manual.

"Recursive Histogram Splitting" (RHS) and "Split and Merge" (SM)

You can also download an implementation of the segmentation methods Recursive Histogram Splitting and Split and Merge as a command line tool. Dependent on your operating system (Windows or Linux) you have to download either rhs-sm-windows-1-0.zip or rhs-sm-linux-1-0.zip. Both files are ZIP archives that contains the executable file. You can obtain the source code of the RHS and SM by downloading the file rhs-sm-src-1-0.zip. For more information: please read the manual for the RHS and the manual for the SMG.

You can also download an implementation of the filter methods Symmetric Nearest Neighbors (SNN) and Kuwahara-Nagao-Filter as a command line tool. Dependent on your operating system (Windows or Linux) you have to download either filter-windows-1-0.zip or filter-linux-1-0.zip. Both files are ZIP archives that contains the executable file. You can obtain the source code of the SNN-Filter and Kuwahara-Nagao-Filter by downloading the file filter-src-1-0.zip.
