...at the Research Group for Innovative Petri Net Theory

Our working group is part of the Institute for Computer Science and the Institute for Software Technology and led by Prof. Dr. Kurt Lautenbach. Research focuses on the modeling, simulation, diagnosis and analysis of complex technical systems based on Petri net theory. Currently, our goal is to develop both a general theory and a tool for the representation and processing of uncertain reasoning using new Petri net classes.
