Arriving by trainKoblenz is located at the IC/EC track that connects the major cities from north to south. Arriving by planeAirport Frankfurt: http://www.frankfurt-airport.de/ Major airport about 115 km from Koblenz. Terminal 1 is connected to train stations for regional trains (Regionalbahnhof) and long distance trains (Fernbahnhof). From Fernbahnhof you will have a connection about every hour, although there are only a few direct trains. Usually you have to change trains in Mainz. The train ride takes approx. 70 minutes. For train schedules see above. All major car rental companies have a desk at the terminal. By car it will take about 70 minutes. Airport Köln-Bonn: http://www.airport-cgn.de/ The ICE train station is right in front of Terminal 1. Trains to Koblenz are leaving every hour. The ride will take about 90 minutes. You can rent a car at the airport from one of the major car rental companies. Driving time by car is about one hour. Airport Hahn: http://www.hahn-airport.de/ About 65 km from Koblenz. Mostly targeted by discount airlines like Ryanair. You can rent a car

There will be a crossing right in front of you. Cross it and then turn right. After ~30m you should have reached the venue.With the bus #5 take the stop "UNI Metternich", which is the final stop of the line and is located on campus. Buses from the venue* Bus #20 departs from the bus stop at the end of the big bridge (Kurt-Schumacher-Brücke)-complementary to the arrival stop. * Buses #3 and #355 stop 30m further away, on Winninger Strasse itself, which runs orthogonally to the above stop. * Bus #5 departs from the stop "UNI Metternich", which is located on campus. This bus is much slower than the others.Bus ticketsBus tickets are available from the driver. A single ticket from the city center to the conference venue costs EUR 1,95.
