False friends while booking your journey:
- Especially if you are from Switzerland: Please make sure, that you enter Koblenz am Rhein in Germany into the route planner or the booking system of the railroad company.
Otherwise you will reach Lake Bodensee, 500 km away from the conference venue.
- Please see, that Landau isn't a district of Koblenz, it is a town in the south of Rhinland Palatine, 230 km away from Koblenz.
- Also if the hotel staff or the cab driver tells something else: The university is at the district "Metternich" in the west of Koblenz at River Moselle, not at the district "Oberwerth" in the south of Koblenz at River Rhine.
The University campus moved in 2002, currently there is a part of the "Fachhochschule" (University of Applied Science).
- In elder maps (<2003) "Universitätsstraße" is called "Rammsweg". After the removal of the university the "Rammsweg" also "moved" to an other street.
