You'll benefit most from the lecture if you read the corresponding chapter in Anglo-American Cultural Studies in advance and then come to the lecture with at least three questions taken from the content of the chapter that you'd like to be asked in an oral exam. After each lecture you'll have the opportunity of using a questionnaire in OLAT to anonymously evaluate the lecture, review the content, and also to submit your favorite questions. You can also share these questions in the Question Time section of our OLAT course forum and / or broach them with all of us during the lecture. You can also use our OLAT forum to communicate with me and with your fellow students and to actively influence the lecture from the first to the last day!

Modulprüfung für Modul 4
: a 15-minute oral exam. We'll be discussing fair content questions in each lecture throughout the course, but only the students who are present in the lecture can decide which questions they'd prefer. You can find a list of the approved questions as well as other material and handouts on the OLAT companion to this lecture. You can find further details online about the  Module 4 exam.

OLAT provides us with the special questionnaire to be filled out after each lecture, the forum, and folders with material from the lecture. You can use the Blackboard M4 Oral Exams course (the code you need to register is 839031e8) to choose the date and time of your M4 oral. You can use the calendar in the Blackboard Anglo-American Studies course to make appointments to see me outside of my regular office time and at the same time see what students in the M5.1 Anglo-American Studies II and the M7.1 Anglo-American Cultural Studies courses are up to. You'll thus have the chance to compare two learning management systems, OLAT and Blackboard, during our lecture course.
