Yannik Nöhrhoff first joined the Institute of English and American Studies at the University of Koblenz in the summer semester of 2025.
He attained his dual M.A. in Anglophone Studies and History from the University of Duisburg-Essen with a dissertation on trauma in the writing of the British Civil Wars. He is currently pursuing his PhD with a thesis focused on Hauntology as a critical approach to women's Gothic fiction of the late 18th century. The breadth of his interests centre on British literature from 16th to the early 20th century and Literary Theory, especially Derridean approaches.
