Jagd; Wildtiermanagement; Mensch-Tier-Beziehungen; Ethnologie der Ethik; Mensch-Umwelt-Beziehungen; Multispecies Ethnography; sensory ethnography; embodiment; affect

Meine Forschung zur Jagd verbindet phänomenologische Anthropologie, Multispecies-Ethnografie und Ethik in einer einzigartigen Perspektive auf das Mensch-Tier-Verhältnis. Im Mittelpunkt steht die Frage, was es leiblich, sensorisch und moralisch bedeutet, ein Jäger zu sein: wie Jäger Wildtiere wahrnehmen, wie sie töten und mit dem Töten umgehen, und wie sich aus dieser komplexen Praxis langfristige Beziehungen der Fürsorge und Verantwortung gegenüber Tieren und Landschaft entwickeln. Durch langjährige ethnografische Feldforschung in Deutschland sowie durch ethnografisch-vergleichende Perspektiven erschließe ich Dimensionen der Jagd, die in ökologischen und politischen Debatten oft unsichtbar bleiben: die affektive Ambivalenz des Tötens, die leibliche Einbettung in Jagdlandschaften, und die moralischen Aushandlungen, die das Jagdhandeln durchziehen. Meine Arbeit trägt damit sowohl zur Anthropologie der Ethik als auch zu aktuellen Debatten über Mensch-Wildtier-Koexistenz und nachhaltige Naturverhältnisse bei.
