Welcome to the website of the University's Equal Opportunities Officer team. Below you can find out more about us and our work.
We have an anti-discriminatory self-image. In concrete terms, this means that we consider as many categories of inequality as possible, i.e. gender, sexuality, heteronormativity, racism, class, anti-Semitism, antiziganism, age, religion, ethnicity, disability and colonial and National Socialist continuities.
Equal Opportunities Officer
On 1 April 2021, the Koblenz senate committee appointed Dr. Tanja Gnosa as the central equal opportunities officer for the Koblenz campus and the Mainz administrative site. After her first term of office, she was reappointed in February 2024. Furthermore, on 09.04.24 she was appointed spokeswoman of the LaKoF* RLP elected.
She has been employed and networked at the University of Koblenz since 2010 and, as a former mid-level representative on faculty council 2 (2017-2020), is also familiar with the dynamics of committee work. She gained a wealth of practical experience in equal opportunities work from 2011-2017 as project manager of the Ada Lovelace Project at the University Koblenz in the area of education and from 2017-2021 as decentralised equal opportunities officer for faculty 2: arts and humanities.
