Key competences are skills, which are vital for your studies and your career.

Sometimes you loose track in a particularly stressful phase of your studies. Or, upon starting your career, you find that you are not sure how to present yourself and your achievements in order to convince the interviewer.
In our workshops you learn how to deal with such situations effectively.

Please register for the respective module (German Baustein) in KLIPS. You will find our workshops by follwing the path Course overview/Koblenz/weitere Veranstaltungen/IKaruS.

After being admitted to the module in Klips, you will receive an email with a link to the respective course/workshop in OLAT. In OLAT you pick three workshops.

It is possible to book several modules during your studies. You will find new offers from time to time. The workshop topics may vary each term.
It is possible to work through one module in more than one semester.

When you are a first year student, we recommend to start with the module Starting off.

There is a maximum of 20 spots per workshop. In case of overbooking, there will be a waiting list in OLAT. Students on the waiting list will be automatically admitted to the wokrshop once a free spot is available.

Please contact us when you cannot take part in a workshop you have been admitted to.
In case you do not take part in the workshop without notice, your absence will be documented. Should you be absent for more than one session, we reserve the right to exclude you from our workshops the following semester.

You have successfully passed a workshop when you have been an active participant and have completed all assignments. Since all workshops have been classified as "exercise courses", attendance is compulsory.

You are required to use a webcam and microphone during digital workshops. Please refrain from registering for online workshops should you not agree to use the tools.

A module is passed once you have successfully participated in three workshops in the respective module.

The awarding of ECTS depends on the regulations in your course of study. Please refer to the head of your programme for further information.

Two-subject bachelor: 1 ECTS is awarded for each module (3 workshops).

The duration of language courses is 12 weeks. For language courses, you can earn 2 ECTS for all languages except German (3 ECTS).
