The UniCard – your student ID card

The UniCard is your official student ID in the form of a multifunctional chip card. It must be presented as a student ID card for examinations and university elections, for example. It serves as a loan and payment card for the university library as well as a payment card for the canteen and other services offered by the Studierendenwerk. The UniCard also serves as a semester ticket.

UniCard Support takes care of the production of the UniCard and answers questions about the handling and functions of your card. If you lose your card, please contact us immediately by e-mail to block your card and apply for a replacement card.

For the start of the independent University of Koblenz from January 2023, the design of the previous UniCard has been revised. If you have a UniCard in the old design of the University of Koblenz-Landau, it will continue to be valid for the entire duration of your studies at the University of Koblenz.
