As an LfbA I do not have any research responsibilities.

The term Lehrkraft für besondere Aufgaben (LfbA) denotes an academic position with a high teaching load, typically 16 hours per week, as opposed to 8 hours for research associates (wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiter/innen). All literal English translations of LfbA, e.g. lecturer for special tasks, are obscure and unidiomatic. Even in German the term represents a specialist vocabulary item of the semantic field "German university system".
