Digitalization and Sustainable Management

The research group on Digitalization and Sustainable Management, driven by the focus profile “Human-Centered Digitalization for Sustainable Management,” investigates the conscious design and conscious use of digital technologies for sustainable business activity. In doing so, we examine the dual role of new technologies as both drivers and potential risk factors for the sustainability transformation.

Our research methods portfolio includes design and behavioral science approaches with theoretical, qualitative, quantitative and data-based methods. A central component of our research is the close cooperation with partners from industry.
