CEIR @ WI2025

CEIR participated in the Interantionale Tagung Wirtschaftsinformatik (WI) again this year. The 20th (anniversary) WI took place from 14 to 17 September 2025 in Münster and offered many exciting presentations, stimulating discussions and a wonderful social programme. The reception took place at Schloss Münster and we celebrated the following evenings at Münster Allwetterzoo and the Jovel. The University of Koblenz was represented by two institutes and five research groups, and it was wonderful to meet so many colleagues there

In the Data Science & Business Analytics Track, Martin Just presented the research results of the new paper "Metrics for Digital Group Workspaces: A Replication Study", which was co-authored with Petra Schubert. The study focuses on demonstrating the reproducibility, validity and generalisability of the original study by Jeners and Prinz from 2014. The effectiveness and viability of the metrics could be demonstrated despite the new data set from a differing system.
