During the workshop, starting points developed as part of the PISA 2022 accompanying study PISA-Ceco for a cognitively activating and motivating task design in the context of maths and science lessons were presented and discussed together with the participating teachers. Teachers had the opportunity to bring their own teaching or examination materials and to look at and further develop them together with the research team and with colleagues from other schools. The suggestions for the design of teaching and examination tasks provided an opportunity to link previous practice with current empirical findings.
