Members of the Senate Committee for Gender Equality (SAGF)

The senate committee for gender equality (SAGF) is elected by the senate every three years. It is made up of a chair, a manager, one professorial member, one student member, one academic member and one member of staff from technology and administration. A deputy must be appointed for each member. The SAGF is supported in an advisory capacity by the equal opportunities officers of the faculties and their representatives, the Vice President for Research and Transfer and a representative from the staff council. The SAGF was first appointed by the Senate in January 1989.

It supports the central equal opportunities officer in the fulfilment of her tasks, such as the preparation of guidelines, recommendations and statements for submission to the senate, and usually proposes a person to the senate for appointment as central equal opportunities officer every three years.
