One-year scholarships

One-year scholarships

for graduates of all scientific subjects

This scholarship programme is designed to enable graduates in scientific subjects to gain international study experience as part of their advanced studies abroad. Students at the beginning of their first degree programme can apply for the programme "One-year scholarships for students of all academic subjects".

Programme description

The programme is aimed at

  • Students who are at the end of their first degree and who would like to continue their studies abroad after graduation.

  • Master's students who would like to complete a year abroad integrated into their study programme

  • Graduates who are planning to study abroad after gaining initial professional experience

  • Funding is provided for participation in a structured study programme abroad. This can be either a studies period integrated into a Master's or postgraduate degree programme at a German higher education institution or a full study programme of up to two years with a degree at the foreign higher education institution.

Studies in the ERASMUS+ region can only be funded if a degree is being pursued at the foreign higher education institution.
