In my research, I am developing a causal prediction model that forecasts the disease courses of individual patients. Building on this, I investigate methods to determine the optimal, patient-specific treatment - even in the presence of time-varying confounding and dosages. My work is based on time-series patient data that are irregular and contain missing values. Example applications include cancer and sepsis, where disease predictions are derived from laboratory values and vital values.
