Dr. Jeanine Kirchner-Krath conducts research at the intersection of sustainability management, psychology, and business informatics, focusing on the design, perception, and impact of digital technologies on environmental and social sustainability. The focus is on how digitalization can be implemented responsibly in companies.
Dr. Kirchner-Krath's research topics include motivational information systems for sustainable behavior in the workplace, the impact of digital technologies on procrastination and mental health, and the role of generative AI in sustainability innovations. Her research has been funded and recognized several times as part of various excellence programs (doctoral scholarship from the sdw, FFL scholarship and Emerging Talents Initiative from FAU, Graduate Center for Postdocs from the Bavarian Research Institute for Digital Transformation).
