JProf. Dr. Jeanine Kirchner-Krath

Dr. Jeanine Kirchner-Krath conducts research at the intersection of sustainability management, psychology, and business informatics. She focuses on the design, perception, and impact of digital technologies on economic, environmental, and social sustainability. People are at the center of her exploration of how digitalization can be implemented responsibly in organizations.

Dr. Kirchner-Krath’s research topics include, for example, motivational and persuasive information systems for sustainable employee behavior, the effects of digital technologies on procrastination and mental health in self-organized work, and the roles of generative AI in sustainability innovations. Her research has been funded and recognized several times as part of various excellence programs (doctoral scholarship from the sdw, FFL scholarship and Emerging Talents Initiative from FAU, Graduate Center for Postdocs from the Bavarian Research Institute for Digital Transformation).
