SECONOMICS: Socio-Economics meets Security

SECONOMICS

The project develops approaches and software tools for the analysis of socio-economic aspects of information security, especially in the context of cyber-physical systems. Application scenarios considered are: international air transport (Anadolu airport), public transport (Barcelona) and energy networks (National Grid, UK). The developed approaches integrate risk analysis with economic aspects to develop software tools that support decision making by decision makers. The contribution of TU Dortmund focuses on model-based analysis of IT security risks.
