Language-Induced Activation of Gender Representations in Long-Term Memory
The project examines how language can activate specific gender representations in memory and influence access to information. The focus is on mechanisms that explain how different linguistic formulations can make certain representations more prominent. Using audiovisual learning materials, these effects are investigated under both controlled and ecologically valid conditions to gain a deeper understanding of the relationships between language, cognition, and memory.
