International Week
This year, the University of Koblenz hosts the International Week from 25 November to 2 December 2026. All students and staff of the university are invited to participate in the various events of the International Week. In addition to social events and information workshops, the programme will also include the annual international fair "Ich bin dann mal weg...", which will offer information lectures and exhibition stands on all aspects of planning a stay abroad. The International Fair will take place on 2 December.

The Cultural Stage will take place on 25 November from 6 p.m., marking the start of this year's International Week. If you would like to join us in experiencing and celebrating interculturalism and internationality at Koblenz University, please register via the link on the left-hand side.

At the Language Café, you will have the opportunity to improve your language skills through conversation with native speakers and fellow learners. Both members of the University and external guests are invited to attend – everyone is welcome! We organise language groups and, if needed, provide ideas and topics to help keep the conversation flowing.
The Language Café will take place in the new menseria.
In this workshop, we will explore Chinese culture and language. In the first part, we will examine how China is portrayed in the German media and discuss common clichés and stereotypes about the country. In the second part, you will learn a number of Chinese characters and their Romanised forms, practise the pronunciation of tones in this tonal language, and gain the skills to hold simple conversations in Chinese.
The workshop will take place on 27 November 2026, from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm in room C206.

Immerse yourself in the rich and diverse world of Korean culture. In this interactive workshop, you will explore Korea beyond K-pop, from language and cuisine to history and contemporary Hanbok fashion. Gain fascinating insights into Korean art, everyday life and cultural traditions that extend far beyond the pop culture phenomenon.
The workshop will take place on 28 November 2026, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm in room F522.

The Lunch Talk on Erasmus+ Staff Mobility will take place online on 1 December, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. The event is organised jointly by the IFGPZ and the International Relations Office. No registration is required.
This year's international fair will take place on 2 December from 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. In addition to the exhibition stands, you will find helpful information on planning your stay abroad at various information events.
