Study Navigation Programme
Start your studies with confidence!
Beginning your studies in a new country can feel overwhelming. The Study Navigation Programme is here to guide you through your first steps into your study programme or help you navigate any of the following higher semesters.
Each study programme has its own Study Navigator - a fellow student who knows the structure, requirements, and everyday challenges of your degree. Navigators are supported by their faculties to provide relieable academic and organisational advice.
From the very beginning, your Study Navigator will:
- explain how to set up your timetable,
- answer reocurring questions you, as international students (regardless of the semester you are currently in) may have,
- share tips for exams and term papers in your programme, and
- give advice on how to approach lecturers when you are looking for a thesis supervisor.
Throughout the semester, the Study Navigators remain your first contact for basic academic and organisational questions. Since they are students themselves, they know exactly what matters most in your first, second, third or even sixth term. Even if they cannot help you themselves, they will know to whom to refer you instead, to give you the best help.
You can come and see the Study Navigators during their regular office hours on campus. If their regular office hour does not suit your timetable, you can politely request to meet online with them, or write an email.
With the Study Navigation Programme, students help students - so you can focus on settling in and succeeding in your studies.
