Conditions of participation

Any student with a particular interest and ability in a subject, discipline can take part. However, it should be borne in mind that lectures and seminars often take place in the morning. This means that lessons are missed, the content of which has to be made up for. Pupils should therefore decide in consultation with parents, subject teachers and the school management whether this can be done. School always comes first. For this reason, the consent of parents and school is absolutely necessary for participation. It is the sole responsibility of the participant to work through the material. In the event of illness, the regulations of the university course attended must be observed, and the school must be notified of the illness in any case and the usual procedure (signature/certificate) must be followed as for unattended classes.

Funding from the Deutsche Telekom Foundation makes it possible to reimburse travel costs for pupils in cases of hardship. The need for a subsidy must be certified in writing by the school management.

"School comes first"

However, it also means that the early study programme can be terminated at any time if it becomes too much, if other interests are more important or if the subject, discipline studied is not an appropriate choice.
