Short biography

Dr. Volker Riediger is a Senior Researcher in the Institute of Software Engineering at the University of Koblenz-Landau. He has more than 20 years of experience in research, technology transfer, and teaching in software engineering, including the research areas of software maintenance, software evolution, program understanding, and model-based development. He holds a PhD in computer science, awarded by the University of Koblenz-Landau. Dr. Riediger served as the spokesperson for the GI's "SRE Software Reengineering" expert group from 2012-2016. Prior to his employment at the university, he worked for more than 10 years as a professional software developer in different application domains.
