On November 2, 2026, Veronika Vasileva, Eduard Wolf, Volker Riediger, Amir Shayan Ahmadian, Daniel Buschmann, and Jan Jürjens published the study "Health Dataspace Technology Acceptance Model (HDS-TAM): Development and Case Evaluation Study of Patient Acceptance of Germany’s Electronic Patient Record" in JMIR Medical Informatics.

On July 14, 2026, Dr. Katharina Großer from the Software Engineering Research Group (Prof. Dr. Jan Jürjens) was awarded the University of Koblenz Doctoral Prize for her outstanding dissertation.

Julia Märdian won the final thesis competition at the Software Engineering Conference of the Gesellschaft für Informatik (GI) with her bachelor thesis “Requirements Classification for Requirements Reuse”. The thesis was supervised by Katharina Großer and Prof. Jan Jürjens.

This year's Best Paper Award of eSAAM 2024 for the paper ‘Privacy-Friendly Sharing of Health Data Using a Reference Architecture for Health Data Spaces’ goes to Amir Shayan Ahmadian, Sebastian Franke, Charly N. Gnoguem, Jan Jürjens.

The AI-NET project, in which the Software Engineering research group headed by Prof. Dr. Jürjens was active in the AI-NET-PROTECT sub-project, won the CELTIC-NEXT Innovation Award 2024 after the final review at the B6G "Berlin 6G" Conference 2024 on 2 July 2024.

Katharina Großer was awarded as one of the best reviewers for the "Software and Systems Modeling" Journal in 2023.

The “Best Artifact Award” of the 31st IEEE International Requirements Engineering Conference (RE'23) goes to Hussein Hasso, Katharina Großer, Iliass Aymaz, Hanna Geppert and Jan Jürjens for their artifact paper entitled “ILLOD Replication Package: An Open-Source Framework for Abbreviation-Expansion Pair Detection and Term Consolidation in Requirements”. The work is a collaboration between the Research Group Software Engineering at the University of Koblenz and the Fraunhofer FKIE.
