Planning Meeting

Postdoctoral researchers researchers who already have a rough concept for a proposal for external funding, but need to further develop and concretise it, can apply for support for a planning meeting for themselves and the members of their working group (a maximum of five people in total, at least three of whom must be members of the University of Koblenz).

The funding of 380 euros per person applies to a maximum of two overnight stays including meals in a hotel in the immediate vicinity plus any costs for a seminar room. Planning meetings can be applied for as a group, whereby one person must act as the main applicant and contact person for the Career Fund.

Application deadline: None. Applications can be submitted all year round. The available financial resources are divided equally between the first and second half of the year and allocated according to the number of applications received.

The most important things at a glance:

• for academics with a doctorate from the University of Koblenz who do not hold a professorship
• a committee decides on the award of contracts
• for groups of max. 5 people
• at least three of the group members must belong to the University of Koblenz
• up to a maximum of 380 euros per person for a maximum of 2 nights including meals in a hotel in the immediate vicinity plus assumption of costs for a seminar room. For shorter stays, the per capita flat rate will be reduced accordingly
• Planning meetings for which a booking has already been made cannot be subsidised
