Trial & Error

A maximum of 2,500 euros per person, application and year will be made available to all postdoctoral researchers who are still at the beginning of a research idea and would like to test whether it is promising to pursue it further. This financial support is intended to create the opportunity to test the potential of a research question or theory.

Application deadline: None. Applications can be submitted all year round. The available financial resources are divided equally between the first and second half of the year and allocated according to the number of applications received.

The most important things at a glance:

• for academics with a doctorate from the University of Koblenz who do not hold a professorship
• a committee decides on the award of contracts
• max. 2,500 euros for testing the potential of a research idea
