UNIVERSITY OF KOBLENZ
Universitätsstraße 1
56070 Koblenz
The universities of Kaiserslautern, Koblenz-Landau, Trier and Saarland founded the University Alliance Southwest in 1999. The agreement forms the basis for increased cooperation in the areas of academics and teaching as well as further education and research. To this day, it enables students to attend courses at the three other universities in the Southwest Network in addition to courses at their home university.
Despite the separation of the University of Koblenz-Landau, the agreement continues to exist between the Rhineland-Palatinate Technical University of Kaiserslautern-Landau, Saarland University, the University of Trier and the University of Koblenz.
The enrolment regulations of the universities in the Southwest Network are designed in such a way that students can enrol at the partner universities through immatriculation without giving reasons. Costs for the semester ticket at the location of the second enrolment are associated with the immatriculation.
Once equivalence has been established, coursework and examinations are mutually recognised. Please contact the relevant Examination Board or Examination Office at your home university for more information.
Are you interested in a second enrolment as part of the Südwestverbund?
