Semester fee

The semester fee is a flat-rate fee and must be paid every six months upon re-registration. The semester fee is not a tuition fee. It is made up of

• a social contribution for the Student Union,

• a social contribution for the General Students' Committee (AStA)

• Germany semester ticket if applicable (see below for details)

• the fee for the UniCard (only applies to first issue)

The contribution to the Studierendenwerk is used to co-finance services such as the canteen, places in halls of residence, grants and counselling services. The general students' committee also partly finances the services it offers from the semester fee.

At the University of Koblenz is the Germany semester ticket according to Tariff regulations of the VRM included in the semester fee. You can find information on the Germany semester ticket here.

Amounts:

• Social contribution student union: € 89.00

• General students' committee social contribution: €19.50

• Germany semester ticket: € 208.80

For feedback: Total € 317.30 (from the second semester for students already enrolled).

For first-time and new enrolments: Total 327,30 € (incl. € 10.00 fee for the first issue of the UniCard)
