The Staff Unit for Information Security and Data Protection (SID for short) reports directly to the president and serves as the first point of contact for questions and matters relating to information security and data protection at the University of Koblenz. The unit is committed to ensuring the security of information systems and the protection of personal data. The aim is to establish a uniform and legally compliant standard of information security and data protection, thereby creating a trustworthy and secure environment whilst providing the best possible support for the University’s research, teaching and administrative processes.
