Traffic light system for the use of generative AI systems in the examination context

The AI traffic light system helps lecturers to determine the extent to which generative AI may be used for a specific examination and how permitted use is to be disclosed. The categorisation is exam-related and can vary depending on the learning objectives, subject culture and exam format.

The document contains guiding questions for categorisation, formulation modules for the task as well as sample declarations of independence and is available for download at the bottom of this page.
