Teaching and Examinations

The Institute of Teaching and Teacher Education covers a wide range of subjects from Educational Sciences within teacher training programmes. Through research-based, theory-driven and practice-oriented teaching, we aim to support the development of professionalism among trainee teachers. In our courses, we also encourage an informed and reflective engagement with the teaching profession, with the aim of enabling students to make a clear career choice.

The Institute of Teaching and Teacher Education is also represented in other study programmes within the faculty that are not related to teaching, in particular the Bachelor’s degree programme Education.
