Doctoral Supervision

One of the core tasks of the University of Koblenz is the funding of scientists in early career stages. Doctoral supervision plays a central role in this context.

The IFGPZ offers advice, information and events to provide doctoral researchers and supervisors with the best possible support in successfully shaping their supervisory relationship.


Events

  • The information events "Promovieren – ja oder nein?" and "Lehramt und Promotion" are held regularly for prospective doctoral candidates.

  • For doctoral candidates, we offer the workshop "Schweigen ist nicht immer Gold – Gut kommunizieren im Promotionsprozess".

  • Supervisors at the University of Koblenz, we can offer a limited number of places for the workshop "Promotionen gut betreut" organised by the QualitätsZirkel Promotion (QZP, Quality Circle for the Doctorate) are available.
