Professors
As a professor, you will take on important areas of responsibility within our university. In addition to activities in research and teaching as well as academic self-government and management, you are a colleague, manager and supervisor of academics in early career stages. The IFGPZ develops offers to support you in these tasks.
First appointed W2/W3 professors can additionally participate in the Programme for W1 professors (events, coaching and mentoring) in order to proactively meet the requirements of their new tasks and areas of responsibility.
In addition to the events listed below, you can apply for selected coaching formats. These include the Team Coaching and the DFG Application Editing.
The IFGPZ has compiled materials for you and your students or PhD candidates interested in doctoral supervision. In addition to the brochures, there are also regular information events and workshops for both doctoral candidates and supervisors.
Raising funds from third parties is a central task for universities and academics in order to drive scientific progress and further develop research profiles. We therefore invite you to take a look at our research support programmes.
The IFGPZ is happy to work with you on third-party funding applications in the area of graduate funding (e. g. structured doctoral programmes) and interdisciplinary networking, and will support you with your applications. Please feel free to contact Dr. Kathrin Ruhl.
The CZS STEM-Forum uses various formats to promote interdisciplinarity in the STEM faculties and networks scientists with other research groups at the University of Koblenz and beyond. It is aimed at (natural) scientists at all career levels who are interested in or conduct interdisciplinary research.

Most of our offers are in German and require corresponding language skills. Events held in German will therefore not be translated into English. All events that we offer in English have a corresponding English description.
